TaskDoctor was established by Dr Rakesh Jivan, a local GP, to help improve patient access for urgent private clinical advice, assessment and treatments at affordable prices across North West London.
Dr Jivan completed his medical school training in 2011 after graduating from Warwick Medical School, UK and then completed his further General Practice training in 2017. He has gained vast experience, knowledge and leadership skills working across various health settings and learning from the best practitioners. He continues to work in various services across North West London – GP surgeries, Urgent Treatment Centres, NHS 111 and as Clinical Lead for Same Day Urgent Care services across the London Borough of Hillingdon.
Dr Jivan’s commitment, passion and dedication to patient care has helped him to promote good healthy lifestyle and well-being, whilst developing his clinical skills in managing a variety of common health conditions. These mainly include minor illnesses, skin lesions and musculoskeletal conditions which can be treated through a range of treatment options. He has a specialist interest in joint injections and minor surgery… and so, this is where the TaskDoctor journey begins.

The aim of TaskDoctor is to bring you quick and easy access to affordable clinical assessment and/or intervention when you need it the most without having to rely on private health insurance or waiting in A&E.
The process starts off by requesting an initial online consultation to assess your symptoms and offer you an appropriate plan that is personalised for your needs.
If you need to be seen for assessment or treatment, we can arrange a face-to-face review at one clinic room in Adell’s Chemist & Clinic based in Hillingdon.

Get Started – How it works
Step 1: Book a Consultation
Do you have an issue to be seen? Start by clicking the “Book A Consultation Today”. Select a convenient time and date for an initial online consultation with TaskDoctor – then complete your payment. Please see the pricing details below.
Step 2: Complete your Online Triage Form and Consent Form Disclaimer
Please check your email and complete the relevant forms so we can gather information regarding your symptoms before your initial online consultation.
Step 3: Initial online assessment
During your initial consultation, we will listen to your concerns and conduct a thorough assessment to provide you with a likely diagnosis and treatment plan accordingly that is personalised to meet your needs.
Step 4: Treatment
Following your initial consultation we can offer you treatment options (ie. a private prescription or signposting to relevant services) or offer a follow-up face-to-face assessment. Following any consultation, you will receive a personalised treatment plan to address your health needs and ensure the best treatment to move forward. A copy of the consultation and treatment plan will also be sent to your registered GP surgery.
